Delta Dental of Iowa has announced a partnership with InsuranceMenu, an insurance quoting and employee enrollment tool. The digital platform is designed to automate and overcome barriers in the small business market and make it easier for small businesses to offer dental and vision benefits, Delta Dental said in a release. “Delta Dental wanted to offer our agents and small business customers a more convenient, digital experience with self-service capabilities during the quote and enrollment process,” said Jeff Russell, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa. The dental insurer connected with the Boston-based insurtech company through InsuranceMenu’s participation in the Global Insurance Accelerator, and in July 2017 announced it would pilot the software with selected agencies. Delta Dental has also made an investment in the company through its subsidiary, Veratrus Health. Delta Dental will be rolling out the InsuranceMenu platform to all agencies throughout 2019.
