Des Moines-area students awarded Bank Iowa scholarships

This year, the bank doubled its commitment by increasing the scholarship awards from $500 to $1,000 each. Three high school seniors from Bank Iowa’s West Des Moines region have been chosen as recipients of the prestigious Spirit of Chandy Scholarship. William Chase from Norwalk High School, Magdelyn Miner from Johnston High School and Jackson Moore from Dowling Catholic High School will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Bank Iowa CEO and President Jim Plagge said, “Bank Iowa is proud to acknowledge the hard work of these students and their commitment to activities that Chandy was passionate about. It is a pleasure to support and continue investing in the young people of Iowa.”
