A new exhibition opening at the Des Moines Art Center will explore female artists inspired by science research, the organization announced this week. “Researchers: Women artists inspired by science,” curated by Laura Burkhalter, will be on view from Feb. 14-May 10 in the John Brady Print Gallery. The exhibition explores the work of artists from the 17th century on who used biology, physics, engineering, astronomy and other fields as inspiration. More information is available online.
