Des Moines Arts Festival organizers announced last week that Benjamin Frey will be the featured artist at this year’s event, scheduled June 26-28. Frey revealed his original artwork, “Across the Horizon,” along with the festival’s 2015 commemorative poster at a preview celebration held Thursday at the Des Moines Art Center. Frey’s work has won many juried competitions and can be seen in galleries in New York, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
