Get away from your desk for lunch today and head to Western Gateway Park, where the annual Des Moines Arts Festival kicks off at 11 a.m. Activities and performances scheduled for today include the Lacona Trio, the Belin Quartet, Debbie Doo Wop & Dynamite Dan and the Art Bus unveiling.
