Des Moines Arts Festival opens artist applications
The Des Moines Arts Festival begins accepting applications today from artists who want a booth at the 2016 festival. Iowa residents who are currently enrolled in an institution of higher education anywhere in the country may also apply for the Emerging Iowa Artist program. The EIA program, sponsored by Principal Financial Group Inc., provides for residents to apply free of charge and have their work judged by the same professional jury that views and selects the professional visual artists.
