Jason Miller, a civil defense attorney with Des Moines-based Patterson Law Firm LLP, has been voted into the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, in which membership in by invitation only and limited to 250 lawyers, according to a release. Miller is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law.He served as a judicial clerk for the Fifth District of Iowa and the Iowa Court of Appeals. At Patterson, he focuses on civil litigation, assessment of insurance coverage and appellate practice. Also voted into the fellowship were Sean Barry of Spencer and Jason O’Rourke of Davenport.
