This year’s Governor’s Arts Awards will be presented at the biannual Iowa Arts Summit, a conference for networking, learning and celebrating the arts in Iowa Aug. 5 at the Iowa Events Center. The summit will include sessions on how to communicate about the impact of the arts, sustain artist networks, host artists in residence, create spaces for public art, manage business tools for artists, and raise funds for nonprofit organizations.
