On the heels of one of its most successful years, Des Moines Metro Opera was the recipient of the 2015 Bravo Encore Award, given at Bravo’s annual gala Saturday night. The Encore Award is presented annually to an organization that exemplifies Bravo’s values through its programming. According to a news release, Des Moines Metro Opera was selected because of its collaborative partnerships to expand innovative programming to new audiences and the region.
