Startup Weekend, a global grass-roots network of entrepreneurs and leaders, announced an initiative in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation designed to lead to the creation of vibrant start-up communities in cities across the nation, which will be called the Startup Foundation.

Startup Weekends are held in cities around the world where aspiring entrepreneurs meet to share ideas and form teams to launch companies.
