The Des Moines Public Library has reopened all of its locations for limited browsing, public computer use and additional in-person services, as of 1 p.m. today. The library said this phase of reopening, called DMPL Express, aims “to provide additional in-person options to better serve our customers and the community, but in a way that moves people in and out as quickly, efficiently, and safely as possible.” The library staff continues to monitor COVID-19 conditions in Polk County to ensure the safety of customers and staff, library officials said, and available services could change in the future. A full breakdown of available services and hours can be found at dmpl.org/reopen.
