Des Moines Public Library now offering ‘Library of Things’
The Des Moines Public Library is introducing a new initiative called the “Library of Things,” which is a collection of more than 50 items that are useful in everyday life that are available for checkout by patrons. Items include a waffle iron, pasta maker, Allen wrench set, carpet cleaner, radon detector, camping tent, DVD player, metal detector and telescope. Items may be borrowed for up to one week.
