Design Alliance is on display at AIA Iowa
Design Alliance creations are featured in June as part of the Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architect’s member display. AIA Iowa features the work of a member firm each month at its office, which overlooks Cowles Commons at Capital Square in downtown Des Moines. Design Alliance, a 25-year-old firm based in Waukee, wrote the following about its display: “The term ‘architect’ is seen a lot these days. Our display is a reminder of its original and primary definition taken straight from Merriam-Webster. The silhouettes of the Des Moines skyline and various Design Alliance projects show the uniqueness of each building and the important, collective role architect-designed buildings have in shaping cities throughout the State of Iowa.” The displays are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
