Dice Holdings Inc. today released a report saying that the unemployment rate for technology professionals was 4.2 percent as of the latest numbers available in September. Dice, which has offices in Urbandale, specializes in operating websites for job seekers in different areas, including technology. The company said that as of Nov. 1, there were 81,680 available technology jobs posted on Dice.com, a number that has been plateaued over a five-month period, the company said.
