DLR Group is tops
DLR Group Inc., an international design and engineering firm with an office in Urbandale, is the top architectural firm in the country, according to Architect magazine. The firm, whose work in Iowa has focused primarily on education and government buildings, has ranked among the top 10 firms since 2009, when the magazine launched its list of elite design companies. Architect magazine is published by the American Institute of Architects. DLR Group ranked as No. 1 architecture and engineering company in the Business Record’s 2012 Best of Des Moines readers survey.
