Des Moines Area Community College and DREAM Iowa have established a partnership in which each will provide $500 scholarships for a total of $1,000 to as many as 10 DMACC students. This year, DMACC and DREAM Iowa have matched their contributions to provide five scholarships for DMACC immigrant students for the spring semester. The principal requirements for the DREAM Iowa scholarship are that the student be a high school senior or enrolled in college, demonstrate the spirit to overcome adversity, and demonstrate commitment to the immigrant community.
