The DMACC Foundation has achieved a record-breaking year by raising over $2.2 million for scholarships. Des Moines Area Community College encourages students to apply for these scholarships before the July 15 deadline. The scholarships, ranging from $500 to thousands of dollars per student, can be used for the entire 2023-24 academic year. DMACC President Rob Denson highlighted the college’s commitment to affordability and encouraged prospective students to apply for scholarships, as a few minutes of their time could result in significant financial assistance. The fall semester begins Aug. 23.
