DMACC, Iowa Bankers Association partner for Habitat home
Des Moines Area Community College and the Iowa Bankers Association have partnered to support the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and build a new home in central Iowa for a family in need. DMACC is providing 23 student volunteers from its Buildings Trade Program to help construct the single-family home in the River Bend neighborhood in Des Moines. The Iowa Bankers Association is providing financial support for building materials and supplies.This is the first time the two have partnered on a Habitat home build.
