Des Moines Area Community College announced Tuesday that Carma Herring, executive director of the John Stoddard Cancer Center at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, has received the college's outstanding alumni association award. 

Des Moines Area Community College announced Tuesday that Carma Herring, executive director of the John Stoddard Cancer Center at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, has received the college’s outstanding alumni association award.

Herring received a nursing degree from DMACC in 1977 and has worked at Iowa Methodist since 1982.
