The Criminal Justice Training Center on the Des Moines Area Community College Ankeny campus is now open, following a ribbon cutting and open house hosted by the DMACC Foundation on Sept. 9. The 1,500 square-foot training center is furnished like a traditional home to provide a realistic setting for learning and training opportunities. The center will be available to DMACC criminal justice students as well as criminal justice professionals throughout Iowa. DMACC’s architectural technologies, building trades and horticulture programs contributed to the construction and landscaping of the facility.
