DMACC welcomes 28 Kosovo students to Des Moines
DMACC President Rob Denson welcomed Millennium Foundation Kosovo staff member Gresa Statovci and 28 Kosovo women to Des Moines on Monday as they arrived to take part in the Women in Energy Scholarship Program. The program, funded by the Millennium Foundation Kosovo’s $1 million grant, will train women to lead Kosovo’s expanding energy industry, DMACC said in a news release. Over the next two years, participants will study energy-related fields at DMACC, including wind turbine technology, electronics engineering/solar energy and applied engineering.
