The Des Moines Register reports that Minnesota’s work to improve water quality is seen as far more aggressive than Iowa’s. Minnesota has $100 million in dedicated spending on water quality each year, but officials still wonder when the waterways will show significant improvement. “It’s definitely too soon to expect to see major changes on the landscape and in the water from this effort,” Glenn Skuta, a leader at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, told the Register.
