Homesteaders Life Co. has named Jon Lefrandt as senior vice president of customer experience. He will lead the West Des Moines-based funeral insurance company’s strategic initiatives, among them supporting Homesteaders’ innovation efforts to help funeral providers connect with more people. Lefrandt is the CEO of the Domanicare Group, a Salt Lake City-based preneed and after-care services provider for funeral homes that Homesteaders invested in last year. He will also continue as chief executive of Domanicare. “This organizational change is another important move as Homesteaders continues to execute on our long-term strategic plan,” said Steve Shaffer, president, CEO and chairman of Homesteaders Life. “Jon possesses keen insights into consumer journeys related to end-of-life experiences and understands the value of ongoing research and innovation that will help funeral professionals connect with more consumers than ever before.” Lefrandt will continue to reside in Salt Lake City.
