The Iowa Department of Transportation has scheduled public input sessions to share information about proposed improvements to the Interstate 80/35 and Hickman Road interchange from University Avenue to Douglas Avenue. An in-person meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Walnut Hills Methodist Church, 12321 Hickman Road, in Urbandale. During the in-person event, DOT staff and consultants will be available to discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made. A virtual presentation will be available between Nov. 22 and Dec. 5. on the DOT’s website. The virtual event will be a self-guided tour of the proposed improvements. All comments are due by Dec. 5.
