The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input on its long-range statewide transit plan, Iowa in Motion 2045. The intent of the plan is to manage resources for a statewide public transit system within Iowa’s multimodal transportation system. Part of that process is collecting public feedback. The public comment period is open through July 1. The development of a long-range plan will also provide input into the development of Iowa in Motion 2050. All feedback will be incorporated into the plan, which will be submitted to the Iowa Transportation Commission for final consideration. See a copy of the plan.
