Download Google videos or lose them
After April 29, Google Videos will stop hosting videos; after May 13, the content will be gone forever, The Washington Post and CenterNetworks reported. Google Inc. has added a “Download” button to its videos website with instruction on how to save content. Users are being encouraged to repost their videos to YouTube, which Google bought in 2006. Archive Team is trying to save all of Google Videos’ content, particularly the longer videos that won’t fit within YouTube’s 15-minute time limit, The Washington Post said. The group has been allocated space for the videos on archive.org.
