Downtown Chamber, Bankers Trust take over gift card program
The Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce and Bankers Trust Co. will take over management and retail support of the Downtown Gift Card program, the organizations announced yesterday.
The program was originally launched in 2007 by the Downtown Community Alliance. Gift cards are now sold only at Bankers Trust’s skywalk branch at 453 Seventh St., and online at www.desmoinesdowntownchamber.com.
More than 100 downtown businesses accept the card.
