Drake CBPA adds three new professors
Three new faculty members have joined Drake University’s College of Business and Public Administration. According to a news release, assistant professors Danielle Edwards and Wiranthe Herath joined the college’s information management and business analytics department to teach courses in information systems and statistics, respectively. Linfeng Zhang has joined as a visiting assistant professor in the school of actuarial science and risk management to teach actuarial science courses. “Professors Edwards, Herath, and Zhang bring a range of academic and professional experiences as well as a shared passion for teaching,” Alejandro Hernandez, dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, said in a prepared statement. “Our business students are benefitting from their expertise and their diverse perspectives, and this trio is contributing valuable insights on teaching, research, and outreach to our faculty.” Pictured from left: Linfeng Zhang, Danielle Edwards and Wiranthe Herath
