Drake University announced that the Drake Risk & Opportunity Forum will return this fall in both an in-person and an online format on Oct. 21. The free forum is an event for risk officers, actuaries, auditors, regulators, consultants/advisers and investment professionals to connect, learn best practices and transform today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. It was designed by a steering group of risk management professionals to learn from thought leaders as they explore how to identify and prioritize emerging risks, consider the evolution of insurance capital models, and approach key economic themes affecting insurance. In-person sessions will be held in the Cowles Library Reading Room on the Drake campus in Des Moines. Lunch will be provided through a sponsorship gift by global asset management firm Alliance Bernstein. Continuing education credits may be available.
