Des Moines Register: Drake University students will start the first two weeks of their spring semester remotely because of possible classroom disruptions from climbing COVID-19 cases. Drake’s first scheduled day of the semester for most students is Jan. 24, and the plan is for in-person classes to resume as normal after the first two weeks. Meanwhile, Iowa’s three public universities so far have committed to in-person learning.
