Sarah Dvorsky has been named the new director of Ames Main Street. Dvorsky, who has been with the Ames Chamber of Commerce since March 2019, began her new role on Monday. As director of Ames Main Street, she will guide and direct all initiatives related to events and business relations, including committee and volunteer efforts. Dvorsky will also oversee event strategy and planning for all Chamber of Commerce events. Dan Culhane, president and CEO of the Ames Chamber of Commerce, said in a news release that Dvorsky has proved her commitment to bettering the Ames community, “and this is the perfect next step for her.” Dvorsky said she has seen the Chamber of Commerce and Ames Main Street grow over the past few years. “And I’m excited and grateful to take on a larger role within the organization,” she said.
