Corridor Business Journal: The Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids has set a passenger record for a sixth consecutive month, airport officials announced. The total number of passengers in July was 106,994, breaking the previous record of 103,712 set in July 2014. The year-to-date increase for enplaned passengers ? those who board a plane there ? is up 4.7 percent over the same time in 2017. In addition, the amount of enplaned cargo for the period of January through July is up 20.5 percent versus the same time period as last year.
