Randy Edeker, president and CEO of Hy-Vee Inc., was elected board chairman for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores at the organization’s annual meeting last week in Florida. As chairman, Edeker will work with other board members to develop organizational policies and procedures, and to help carry out its mission. Edeker will serve a one-year term as chairman. He first joined the board in 2013, and last year served as treasurer. Edeker succeeds John Standley, chairman and CEO of Rite Aid Corp.
