Egypt exhibit next for ScienceCenter
Real mummies and hands-on archeological activities will be part of the next major traveling exhibit this fall at the Science Center of Iowa (SCI). Museum officials announced this morning that “Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science” will premiere on Nov. 25 for a limited engagement. Visitors will explore a re-creation of an Egyptian tomb and authentic art and artifacts from the daily life and funerary culture of ancient Egypt, and learn about archaeology and the work of archaeologists.
