EMC Insurance Cos. announced Pavan Goteti has been named the new vice president of innovation and business process management. According to a news release, the role is newly expanded to focus on “enabling the people, processes and technology necessary to achieve EMC’s future-focused strategy.” Goteti has two decades of experience in the insurance industry. He joined EMC in December 2017 as a senior scrum master and advanced to assistant vice president – agile delivery enablement. “Goteti’s expertise and ability to build strong partnerships between business and technology leaders will be critical as our company works through its digital transformation,” Beth Nigut, executive vice president at EMC, said in a news release. “We strive to be intentional and strategic about building a culture of innovation, which includes embracing cross-functional collaboration. Goteti’s focus on relationships ensures that innovation occurs everywhere within the organization and encompasses big and small improvements – all of which are designed to yield a better customer experience.” Goteti holds an MBA in management information systems and general business, as well as an MBA in financial management.
