A Midwest trucking company abruptly shut down on Friday, leaving employees in Des Moines and multiple states without pay, KCCI-TV reported. A statement on LME Trucking’s website said the Roseville, Minn.-based company ceased operations due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Employees of LME Trucking reported learning during a meeting Thursday that the company no longer existed and that managers were unsure whether the workers would be paid.
