Iowa Skilled Trades has opened employer registration for the 2025 Build My Future career event for high school students scheduled for April 16. More than 7,000 students are expected to attend to learn about different careers in skilled trades. Featured career paths include manufacturing, health care and nursing, law enforcement and emergency services, military, culinary, restaurant and hospitality, agriculture, commercial and residential construction, heavy equipment operators, trucking, automotive, IT and cybersecurity, and energy. The event will be held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. For more information or to register as a vendor, click here.
