Corridor Business Journal: Empower by GoDaddy, in partnership with Jane Boyd Community House, will present its first-ever crowd pitch at Mount Mercy University CRST International Graduate Center in Cedar Rapids later this month, offering graduates a chance to pitch their business and win a cash award. The event is scheduled for Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Each graduate will present to a panel of judges and community members. Judges will choose a winner based on their ability to influence the community, their profitability outlook and their long-term vision.
