The Orchestrate Jazz Lunch Series on Thursday features The Damani Phillips Quartet from noon to 1 p.m. at the Des Moines Social Club, Fourth and Walnut streets. The Des Moines Social Club will offer jazz one Thursday a month. Saxophonist Damani Phillips is professor of jazz studies at Grinnell College and was with the Des Moines Big Band from 2010 to 2012. Admission is $7, and for another $5, guests receive a burrito from Cuatro Burrito and Taco Bar.
