ESO announced that Darrin Poole has been named its vice president of customer experience and site lead for the company’s Des Moines location. ESO, based in Austin, Texas, is a data and software company serving emergency medical services, fire departments, hospitals and state EMS/trauma offices. In a news release, the company said Poole brings more than 30 years of experience leading strategic initiatives related to customer growth. Before joining ESO, Poole was vice president of customer experience at ClearAction Continuum, a technology company that helps increase employee engagement across marketing and customer experience platforms. He previously served in consulting leadership roles, leading marketing and process initiatives for global companies, such as Microsoft and Adobe Systems. He received a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
