Euro falls to lowest point in two years
The European debt crisis may be spreading to the eurozone’s larger economies, according to Bloomberg, causing the euro to fall to its lowest level against the . dollar in two years.
The drop in value today came as Spain continues to struggle to rescue its banks and fear still persists that the Greeks may exit the euro.
The trouble in Europe also took its toll on the U.S. stock market. The Standard and Poor’s 500 index is now on track to have the worst month since September, according to Bloomberg.
