Even in the millennial hiring sector, women are falling behind

BizWomen.com: As corporations wring their hands over how to hire and retain millennials, a new survey reveals some of the factors that lead members of this valuable age group to flee a company. Millennial men and women are fickle employees in the marketplace, so when a new survey revealed that two in three say they will leave their current job by 2020, it’s alarming. The survey, by the business consulting firm Deloitte, also found that women are more likely to leave a company than men. The top reason? A lack of opportunities to move up. Forty-eight percent of women say they are being overlooked for potential leadership positions; 50 percent of men agree. Read more in-depth findings from the report.
