The event is at 1:30 p.m at Iowa Network Services, 7760 Office Plaza Drive South in West Des Moines, and will feature Vernita Dore, USDA deputy undersecretary. Since 2009, the USDA has invested a total of $345 million in rural Iowa to assist with broadband development projects.
