The Iowa Alliance for Growth and the Iowa Catholic Conference plan a roundtable discussion on immigration featuring Bishop Richard Pates and others. The event is will be at noon, Jan. 25, at the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines’ Pastoral Center, 601 Grand Ave. Others on the panel will include Tom Chapman, executive director of the Iowa Catholic Conference; Andrew Moriarty, senior organizing director for FWD.us; David Kaufman, organizing coordinator for FWD.us; and Jenny Barin, organizing coordinator for FWD.us, a group of tech workers that supports immigration reform.
