Friends of Iowa Justice For Our Neighbors will host a benefit Nov. 12 to fund continued immigration legal services for unaccompanied children fleeing extreme violence in Central America who are resettled in Iowa. The leadership for the fundraising campaign includes honorary Co-Chairs Barry and Michele Griswell and a committee of 26 volunteers. More than $60,000 has been raised toward the campaign goal of $100,000.
