Event Nov. 17: ABI plans critical business update session
The Iowa Association of Business and Industry plans a session, “Critical Business Updates” to give businesses advice on how to address coming changes under federal law. Among the topics at the 9 a.m. session on Nov. 17 at the ABI office will be employer mandates and reporting requirements under the Affordable Care Act and changes at the Department of Labor Employment Law regarding classification of employees and salary requirements.
Participants will hear from experts in both areas about what exactly these changes mean and ideas for how to address them. Fees vary. Register online.
