The Hilton hotel at the Iowa Events Center has outpaced average scores at other U.S. Hilton hotels in survey results from customers, hotel officials told the Iowa Events Center Hotel Corp. today. The score for overall experience at the Des Moines convention hotel came in at 70.9, 14.2 points above the benchmark average of 56.7 for the period March 21 to June 31, hotel officials said. The area in which the Des Moines hotel outshined its Hilton peers the most was overall accommodations, with a score of 78.6, 22.2 points above the 56.4 percent benchmark.
