Exile Brewing Co. won gold at the World Beer Cup in the Munich-style dunkel beer category for its beer titled G.G. Exile’s brew was selected in a field of 8,375 entries from 1,761 breweries across 49 countries. G.G. now has more than five awards at national beer competitions, including silver at the same competition last year. The award was presented at a ceremony that took place on May 1 at the Indiana Convention Center. “We’re proud of our team for their hard work and dedication to our craft. It’s great to see that recognized with this gold medal from the World Beer Cup,” Joey Hansen, head brewer at Exile, said in a statement.
