Facebook, the company that knows nearly everything about your browsing habits, shopping preferences and IRL social network, has ushered in more questions than answers after unveiling its own cryptocurrency, Libra, Business Insider reports. For instance, Maxine Waters, the Democratic chair of the House Financial Services Committee, is already asking the company to halt development of Libra until regulators can review it. Other regulators are highly concerned that Libra will be unable to abide by regulations in each country, which may conflict with other countries’ regulations.
