Iowa State Fair food stand The Bird’s Nest is introducing a new specialty hamburger at this year’s fair.

Following the ways of its predecessor, the Gigantor, which is a one-pound hamburger served between two grilled cheese sandwiches and topped with macaroni and cheese, the Diablo Burger will consist of a burger topped with pepper cheese, bacon and jalapeno peppers served between two grilled cheese sandwiches. 

The Bird’s Nest, located at the top of the hill by the Anderson Erickson Dairy Stage, will also host acoustic acts after the main acts throughout the week.
